Staff Roles

About our staff
Our support staff are here to guide the community into a friendly, banterful direction to ensure the site always remains an enjoyable and pleasant experience for everyone.
 
We are a very, very new site so without them we would be doomed to fail. The work they do is 100% voluntary and they are appreciated greatly by the management as is all the hard work they do for us in their spare time.
 
We ask you to respect our staff as they are your support and they are here for your benefit.
 
Their duty is to greet new members of the community; to answer your enquiries & questions; to respond to your complaints, comments & suggestions and to help you with any problems you may face whilst using our services.
 
We have safety measures in place to guarantee you can trust our staff members. All new staff members must provide a valid address of residence.

What's the difference between a Host, Co-Host & a Support?
A staff member with a (Host) tag is Friendly Chat management. They are here to run FC on a day-2-day basis and to make sure the site is progessing as well as it should be. Their duties include moderating the FC forums, replying to e-mails sent in via the contact form and to monitor potential candidates for support staff.
 
A staff member with a (Co-Host) tag are supervisors of Support, and advisors to the Hosts. Their duties include setting a good example to support staff members on how to behave in front of visitors, to train new support staff members and generally act as representatives for FC members to the management.
 
A staff member with a (Support) tag are the most important staff members of all. They are on the front line. They are Friendly Chat's customer support team. They are here to answer your questions; help you with your problems; greet new users; ensure the chat rooms stay a pleasant experience for our visitors whilst being fair, but firm. Without our dedicated volunteer staff team we would be doomed to failure.
 
For this reason we ask you kindly to respect our support staff team. Remember ... they're here to help you.
