Registration keeps failing, why?
Registration failure may occur for the following reasons:
The username you have typed in is already registered;
The username you have typed in is too long (15 letters maximum);
The
username you have typed in contains banned words or phrases;
The password is too short (6 alphanumeric letters minimum)
If you are constantly having trouble registering,
e-mail us.
How do I enter a room?
Click on FC's "start" button (the flaming blue cog)
and then click on "rooms" to bring up the rooms list. Left click on the desired room name, and click "join".
Alternatively, you may left click on the client's back ground and click "rooms".
How do I type?
Simply type in your text then hit your 'ENTER' key.
How do I private message someone?
Left click on somebody's name and then click "request
private chat". Please note that the person you have requested a PM with has the option of either accepting or denying your
request. If they deny your request, please do not try PMing them again.
We recommend that you ask politely in the main chat room for permission before PMing someone. Let's have a little netiquette
here, eh?
How do I configure the chat client, such as
blocking private messages, disabling sounds etc?
Click on FC's start button (bottom left of the FC
task bar, it's a flaming blue cog icon) and click "preferences" -- from here you may fill out your profile, choose an avatar,
edit your user options and more.
I try uploading an avatar but it keeps saying "maximum dimensions exceeded"
Due to bandwidth issues the client no longer auto-resizes your avatar pictures. The dimensions must not exceed 40x40.

How do I ignore (block) someone?
Left click on their username then click "BLOCK/IGNORE".
How do I change my password?
Go into preferences -> personal profile. Scroll to the bottom and you'll see a button that says "change password".
I've forgotten my password, how do I retrieve it?
We've made it as easy as possible for people to register, that means no e-mail address is required. This is why we suggest
you choose a password that is easy to remember. If you have forgotten your password you'll have to re-register and notify
us via e-mail - if your other username remains inactive for a month we'll delete it. We can't delete it right away on request
through e-mail for obvious reasons.
How do I report someone?
If you would like to file a complaint against a user
or a staff member, contact us.
What does [G], [C] & [A] mean next to the room names?
[G] stands for General Chat. [G] Rated rooms are for friendly, clean chat only.
[R] stands for Casual Chat. Swearing is permitted in these rooms, but sexual content is still forbidden.
[A] stands for Adult Chat. Sexual content is permitted in [A] rated rooms.
How do I become a staff member?
