Registration keeps failing, why?
Registration failure may occur for the following reasons:
The username you have typed in is already registered;
The username you have typed in is too long (15 letters maximum);
The
username you have typed in contains banned words or phrases;
The password is too short (6 alphanumeric letters minimum)
If you are constantly having trouble registering,
e-mail us.
When I go to the chat page, I cannot see a login screen.
You will need to install flash. You can install java
by clicking here.
Please note that our chat client is best viewed in
1024x768 using Firefox; a superior browser to Internet Explorer.
When I launch the chat client, my browser asks to allow ActiveX. Is this normal?
Yes. Always click yes. This only happens in IE and this is what allows the flash client to launch correctly. If you clicked
no, the client will launch in a seperate tab instead of in a floating window. Don't panic, though. Simply close the tab and
reload the chat page.. this time click 'yes'.
The chat loaded okay, but when I refreshed it showed nothing but a blank page.
This is because Internet Explorer has trouble handling the reloading of flash clients. Simply close your browser and
re-open it, or use
Firefox; a superior browser to IE.
I often get disconnected from the chat software
and I have to re-login.
This is due to a bad internet connection. Try reconnecting
to the internet & emptying your browser's cache. Try avoid using large ISPs that affect the quality of your connection,
such as AOL.
